Position Summary

Manages maintenance mechanics and shop workers. Facilitates the maintenance and repair of equipment, oversees administrative activities, and directs general shop operations.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Supervises maintenance shop staff across various shifts.
  • Interviews candidates, trains new hires, and provides coaching and counseling to employees.
  • Assists in setting shop goals for maintenance and safety programs.
  • Oversees the management of parts, tires, and supply inventories.
  • Instructs technicians on the proper use of diagnostic tools and computer software to assist in troubleshooting equipment.
  • Ensures technicians use proper preventative maintenance and repair practices on equipment.
  • Manages approvals and payment processing for internal and external orders.
  • Communicates with terminal management to maximize regional equipment availability.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • 5 years of equipment maintenance experience, including 3 years of management experience.
  • Factory training and certification in engine diagnostic software.
  • Knowledge of TMW transportation software.

Salary Range: $68,800.00 - $85,300.00 annually, based on experience. This position is bonus eligible.
