Job Description

As the Assistant Superintendent, you will report directly to the Superintendent and Project Manager, supporting daily field operations and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to quality standards.

  • Support on-site supervision of subcontractors and self-perform work
  • Assist with daily scheduling, coordination, and logistics
  • Enforce safety standards and maintain a clean, organized jobsite
  • Participate in inspections, punch lists, and close-out activities
  • Coordinate with project teams to resolve field issues proactively
  • Maintain clear communication with inspectors, owners, and trade partners

The Successful Applicant

For the Assistant Superintendent role, we are seeking:

  • Experience as an Assistant Superintendent, Field Engineer, or Foreman
  • Background in commercial construction (education or public projects preferred)
  • Strong understanding of safety, scheduling, and quality control
  • Ability to work independently without micromanagement
  • Clear communicator with a team-first mindset
  • Experience working alongside Superintendents and Project Managers
