You'll be joining a growing regional general contractor transitioning from a small-company feel to a true mid-size platform. Known for never losing a client, this firm has built its reputation on trust, accountability, and personal service-successfully competing with much larger brand-name contractors. Projects span municipal, education, and select private work, typically under $10M, with growth continuing year over year.
As the Assistant Superintendent, you will report directly to the Superintendent and Project Manager, supporting daily field operations and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to quality standards.
- Support on-site supervision of subcontractors and self-perform work
- Assist with daily scheduling, coordination, and logistics
- Enforce safety standards and maintain a clean, organized jobsite
- Participate in inspections, punch lists, and close-out activities
- Coordinate with project teams to resolve field issues proactively
- Maintain clear communication with inspectors, owners, and trade partners

For the Assistant Superintendent role, we are seeking:
- Experience as an Assistant Superintendent, Field Engineer, or Foreman
- Background in commercial construction (education or public projects preferred)
- Strong understanding of safety, scheduling, and quality control
- Ability to work independently without micromanagement
- Clear communicator with a team-first mindset
- Experience working alongside Superintendents and Project Managers
- Salary: $70,000 - $100,000
