Job Description

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is seeking qualified applicant as a 451 Course Assistant. This position will help specifically in labs, reevaluating the lab section to change, update, and correct lab activities.

Essential Job Duties
  • Evaluation Lab activities and assignments and offer feedback to faculty on updates and changes

  • Grade and log assignments

  • Work with faculty to organize and amend course schedule

  • Assist faculty with lesson preparation

  • Oversee students during lab time

  • Collaborate with faculty to recognize issues students are facing and recommend solutions

  • Ensure the classroom and lab environment is safe and clean

  • Comply with state and university rules and regulations for classrooms and labs

Minimum Requirements:

  • Successfully completed ECE 451, or related course at another institution, with a passing grade

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or similar area of study

  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Familiarity with the Electrical and Computer Engineering major and department

Salary Range
17 per hour
