CSU’s Small Animal Rehabilitation service is seeking a veterinary assistant to support the daily operations and patient care within the Rehabilitation department. Our team is dedicated to enhancing mobility and quality of life for companion animals through personalized therapeutic treatments, including the use of underwater treadmill therapy, laser, therapeutic exercise, and other rehab modalities. This position will assist with patient intake, treatment documentation, and scheduling, as well as contribute to the maintenance and organization of the service.

- Assist with patient handling during rehabilitation sessions, including underwater treadmill therapy, laser therapy, and therapeutic exercises, under the supervision of a veterinarian or rehab-certified technician, while monitoring patient comfort and documenting treatment responses.
- Ensure accurate execution of prescribed treatment plans with a focus on patient safety, comfort, and rehabilitation goals.
- Prepare, operate, clean, and maintain rehabilitation equipment and treatment areas according to established protocols and infection control standards.
- Support scheduling, coordination of follow-up visits, patient record updates, and client communication related to rehabilitation appointments and care instructions.
- Maintain organization of the rehabilitation service by stocking supplies, coordinating with central supply, and performing other duties as needed to support operational and business needs.
