PAYROLL TAX ANALYST - We’re hiring a Payroll Tax Analyst in Englewood, Colorado. This role ensures compliance with payroll tax reporting and withholding requirements across multiple states and jurisdictions. The Payroll Tax Analyst will process daily, monthly, and quarterly tax filings, maintain tax setups, and research changing laws and rates to ensure accuracy. Range $65,000- $90,000 Paid on-the-job technical and professional growth opportunities Established career path for future advancement 401 k and Roth 401(k) retirement savings plans Health, prescription, dental, vision plans Life & Disability Insurance plans Financial wellness program Employee assistance program Employee discount programs ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Prepare and process accurate and timely multi-state and multi-jurisdiction withholding tax payments. Ensure compliance with current tax laws and rate changes. Process daily, monthly, and quarterly taxes for over 4,000 employees across 15 companies. Work with ADP to handle tax filings and ensure reports are sent correctly and timely. Monitor employee tax setups within payroll system for state, local, and county taxes. Send wire transfers for tax remittances. Review payrolls to ensure taxes are correctly set up. Process W-2 forms annually and handle tax adjustments and amendments. Set up new states and locals as companies enter new jurisdictions. Research and address tax-related questions and agency notices. Balance general ledger payroll tax accounts. Assist auditors with internal and external audits. All other duties assigned. KEY QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree preferred 2 years of experience in multi-state payroll tax preparation. Knowledge of local/county and paid family leave withholding tax issues (PA, OH, KY, MI)2 years of payroll processing experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High attention to detail and ability to solve complex multi-state payroll tax issues. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. The physical activity and work environment required for this role includes:Sitting for extended periods in an office environment. Frequently standing, walking, stooping, reaching, climbing, bending and reaching. Manual dexterity for computer use, files and office equipment Occasionally lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
