Now Hiring: Logistics Facilities Maintenance Technician Associate


Pay: $19.29 base per hour Shift Differential = $20.46 total per hour, depending on skills and experience
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM-11:30 PM
Job Type: Full-Time

What You’ll Do:
  • Build boxes from pallets using hand tools and measuring equipment, ensuring all three box sizes meet operational requirements
  • Measure and cut materials accurately using a tape measure or ruler
  • Maintain a sufficient supply of boxes to support operational production lines
  • Perform routine tasks to support operational lines including trash runs, cart and box movement, and material transfers using mobile equipment
  • Assist with routine facility maintenance tasks on systems such as HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and other facility equipment
  • Troubleshoot and respond to maintenance requests to minimize operational disruptions
  • Conduct regular facility inspections to identify wear and tear, malfunctioning equipment, or safety hazards
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly
  • Assist with preventive maintenance programs to keep equipment operating efficiently
  • Help maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, ordering parts as needed
  • Work with contractors or vendors for specialized maintenance or repairs
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance work, including parts used and time spent
  • Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and regulations, including proper handling of hazardous materials
  • Support facility improvements, upgrades, and operational projects as needed
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (vocational training or associate’s degree preferred)
  • Ability to build boxes from pallets using hand tools and measurement tools
  • Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with facility systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and industrial equipment
  • Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures
Desired Qualifications:
  • Certification or technical training in facilities maintenance or technical trades (HVAC, electrical, etc.)
  • Previous experience in a logistics, warehouse, or distribution environment
  • Familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS, SAP, or similar)
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and facility safety procedures
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management and supply chain operations
Technology Requirements:
  • Ability to use maintenance management software (CMMS or SAP) to log maintenance tasks and track work orders
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in facility maintenance
  • Basic computer skills for entering maintenance data and tracking inventory
Other Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts if required
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license if travel between locations is required
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
