As a Security Officer Entry Level Overnights in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy transportation location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support travelers and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and high-traffic locations to help support authorized access, observe arriving and departing activity, and report concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete routine reports, document incidents, and relay observations regarding equipment issues, suspicious behavior, and/or operational concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
