Job Summary

Under close supervision of an assigned mentor (s), MC2 (Medical Career Collaborative) Interns will have the opportunity to observe clinical and non- clinical practices, assist mentors in low level patient care, and complete other non-clinical duties as assigned.

Essential Functions:

  • Shadowing of mentor(s). (50%)
  • Non-clinical duties as assigned (this could include stocking supplies, turning over exam rooms, administrative duties, rooming/escorting patients, working on research or special projects etc.) (50%)

Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED In progress Required

      Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
      • Excellent communication and time management skills.
      • Ability to work effectively in a diverse workplace setting and interact positively and professionally with both internal staff and patients and families.
