JOB SUMMARY:

Performs advanced financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to support financial planning and performance insights, collaborating with finance, accounting, and business partners under limited supervision

Responsible for understanding, upholding, and promoting the Everus 4EVER Strategy.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; and
  • Two years’ of related financial analysis or Financial Planning & Analysis experience.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Prepare and analyze budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, including tracking and explaining variances against actual results.
  • Perform detailed financial and operational analyses to support management decision-making and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, assumptions, and supporting schedules used in planning and forecasting activities.
  • Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with accounting and operational teams to understand financial results, business drivers, and trends.
  • Assist in improving FP&A processes, tools, and reporting to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and consistency.
  • Support ad hoc analyses and special projects as requested by management.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, documentation standards, and established financial reporting processes.
  • Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.
KEY SKILLS AND COMPENTENCIES:
  • Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Understanding of financial statements and how the three statements connect.
  • Advanced knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of corporate financial data.
  • Excellent human relations skills in dealing with associates, other departments, operating company personnel, external auditors, attorneys, and consultants.
  • Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, executive-level insights. Self-motivated with the ability to accomplish multiple tasks within tight deadlines and the ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • CPA or professional certification preferred.
  • Construction accounting experience.
  • Viewpoint Spectrum experience.
  • Power BI experience preferred.
