About this role

As an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in General Orthopedic Surgery, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing compassionate care and excellent patient experience. In this role, you will work alongside a well-established group of 3 DPMs, 3 MDs and 5 APPs caring for patients at Platte Valley Hospital, Platte Valley Medical Group Orthopedics Clinic and the East Crossroads Clinic.

You can also anticipate:

  • Working full time, 40 hours/week with rotating call shifts (more information about shifts and schedule will be discussed further in an interview)

  • Call requirements include 5-6 days per month where you will work alongside different orthopedic providers

  • Evaluating and treating orthopedic injuries such as minor procedures including reductions, injections, laceration repair, and wound care

  • Having a multidisciplinary approach to providing care and enjoy working in a team setting

  • This position includes a sign on incentive of $10,000 and up to $7,500 in relocation assistance, if applicable

  • The ideal candidate will have a general orthopedic background but is not required

What you’ll bring

  • PA or NP degree from a fully accredited program

  • New Grads are welcome to apply with the requirement of having successfully completed an orthopedic rotation

  • Active, unobstructed Colorado license, or the ability to obtain one

  • BLS certification and DEA

  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$56.76 - $87.59
