Boulder Community Health is seeking a Medical Assistant, where you will serve as a dedicated patient caregiver. Within our care delivery system, the MA organizes care around patients, while engaging a multidisciplinary care team. Join our team and contribute to the well-being of our patients.

Qualifications
& Graduate from a Medical Assistant program preferred, or
& Colorado LPN license in good standing preferred, or
& Pass a national Medical Assistant Certification exam preferred.
& BLS certification required by the end of conditional period.

Responsibilities
& Takes patient histories, vital signs and thoroughly documents in patient chart.
& Prepares and maintains supplies and equipment for treatments, including sterilization.
& Assists physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals.
& Assists with scheduling of tests and treatments.
& Performs selected nursing and administrative duties.
& Performs venipunctures and fingerstick phlebotomy, throat cultures, urinalysis, EKG’s, and other laboratory procedures as directed
